Casa Lar dos Afetos project reinforced with more places and investment
The Casa Lar dos Afetos project, in Santo António, will see an increase in capacity and a total financial reinforcement of 2.4 million euros.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Ordinance no. 294/2026, has authorized the reinforcement of investment in project 3747 - Casa Lar dos Afetos (CLA), contracted with the Casa do Povo de Santo António. The project, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aims to build a Residential Structure for Elderly People (ERPI) and a Day Center.
Due to a more efficient resizing of the spaces, the ERPI's capacity has increased from 20 to 25 places, while maintaining the 10 places in the Day Center. This adjustment implies an increase in the project's total amount to €2,467,455.85.
The approved distribution of budgetary charges is as follows:
- Financial year 2025: €627,102.00
- Financial year 2026: €1,840,353.85
