Seven programme agreements from the Regional Directorate for Youth will support initiatives in health, cinema, the arts, music and education. The orders approve expenditure of €7,773.65, spread across 2026 and 2027.
The Regional Government has authorised the Regional Directorate for Youth to assume multi-year expenditure totalling €7,773.65 to support seven projects run by informal youth groups and associations under the Social Innovation and Transformation Programme (PRINT).
The orders, published on 30 September, allow programme agreements to be signed, with budget implementation in 2026 and 2027. For six of the projects, the approved support is €2,550, split into €1,785 in 2026 and €765 in 2027. For the project by the Hub Saudar Informal Youth Group, the total is €2,523.65: €1,766.56 in 2026 and €757.09 in 2027.
PRINT was created to support social entrepreneurship projects that offer innovative and sustainable solutions, strengthen youth participation and create social value. The orders authorise the Regional Directorate for Youth to assume the expenditure; they do not provide further details about how the initiatives will be carried out. The amounts allocated for each year may be increased by any balance carried over from the previous year, under the terms set out in the orders.
In 2026, the Regional Government will honour distinguished figures with the Honorary Insignia of Prestige - “50 Years of Autonomy”. The award ceremony is scheduled for 1 October in Funchal; the resolution refers to an attached list for the names of the recipients.
Seven youth social entrepreneurship projects will receive €2,550 each, for a total of €7,850, under the Social Innovation and Transformation Programme. The costs will be spread across 2026 and 2027.
The Madeira Institute of Social Security has been authorised to commit €650,530.03, plus VAT, to procure cleaning services in 2027 and 2028. The expenditure covers central and local offices, activity and inclusion training centres, and the Madeira Social Inclusion Centre.
