The Regional Directorate for Youth has defined the compensation allowance for participants in the Youth Volunteering Program.
Through Order no. 183/2026, the Regional Directorate for Youth has set the hourly rate for the monetary compensation allowance granted to young people participating in the Youth Volunteering Program at €2.00 (two euros).
This measure, which has been in effect since April 13, 2026, aims to encourage civic participation and social responsibility among young people in Madeira, as provided for in Ordinance no. 169/2026.
The Regional Youth Directorate will finance 14 projects from associations and informal youth groups under the PRINT program, with a total investment of 38,165 euros for 2026 and 2027.
