The Government has authorized the budgetary allocation for a contract for travel and accommodation agency services for the Madeira Health Service, with a total base price of 4.4 million euros over four years.
Order No. 382/2026 of August 4 has been published, authorizing the distribution of budgetary charges related to the provision of travel and accommodation agency services for SESARAM, EPERAM (Madeira Regional Health Service).
The contract will have an initial term of one year, with the possibility of renewal for identical periods up to a maximum of four years. The total global base price is €9,900,000.00 (nine million nine hundred thousand euros), which corresponds to an annual price of €3,300,000.00, exempt from VAT.

The expenditure for 2027 will be included in SESARAM's budget proposal for that year. This contract aims to ensure the travel and accommodation services necessary for the activities of the regional public health service.
The Madeira Health Service has reallocated its budget for the hospital waste treatment contract and for the acquisition of six vehicles for Home Hospitalization.
A subsidiary and exceptional funding mechanism, up to 2 million euros, has been approved to support intermediate care places for people discharged from hospital for social reasons.
A correction statement has been published to fix a value in the price table for healthcare services in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation co-funded by the Regional Health Service.
