Regional Government corrects price table for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation treatments
A correction statement has been published to fix a value in the price table for healthcare services in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation co-funded by the Regional Health Service.
The Regional Government has corrected a material error in the price table attached to an ordinance that approves co-funding for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation treatments.
Correction Statement No. 23/2026 amends the Annex of Ordinance No. 190/2026, dated April 30. The correction concerns the price of the procedure with the code 61300 - "Other therapeutic techniques".
In the originally published version, the co-funding value from the Regional Health Service (SRS-Madeira) for this procedure was listed as €9.98. After the correction, the correct value is now €10.64. Consequently, the total price of the procedure remains at €13.30, but the patient's co-payment adjusts from €3.33 to €2.66.
The table defines the prices and co-funding conditions for dozens of procedures and therapeutic techniques, such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, kinesiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, provided by contracted entities to beneficiaries of the Regional Health Service.
