The Regional Government of Madeira has approved a budget increase for the Nossa Senhora do Bom Caminho Home project in Machico, due to the need for complementary works.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth announced, through Ordinance no. 156/2026, the update of the multi-annual expenditure plan regarding the improvement and expansion project of the Nossa Senhora do Bom Caminho Home. This public establishment, integrated into the Social Security Institute of Madeira, IP-RAM, is located at Praça 2 de julho, no. 1, in Ribeira de Machico.
The decision follows the need to execute complementary works, which are essential for the completion of the project and were not initially foreseen in the bill of quantities. These works, framed under article 370 of the Public Contracts Code, represent a value of 131,057.15 euros, plus VAT.
With this change, the total amount of the contract, financed under the RRP (investment RE-C03-i03-RAM - Strengthening Social Responses in the Autonomous Region of Madeira), now amounts to 2,107,545.54 euros (plus VAT). The breakdown of the budget charges is defined as follows:
