REDE contracts with both Living Care units amended
The Region amended the programme contracts for joining Madeira’s Integrated Continuing Care Network (REDE) with Living Care Association’s Units I and II. The agreements cover 261 beds and are worth a total of 23,925,733.92 euros.
The first amendments have been formalised to the programme contracts for joining Madeira’s Integrated Continuing Care Network (REDE), concluded with the two long-term care and maintenance units of Living Care Association. The contracts were signed on 20 July 2026, and the amendments were made public by the Health Administration Institute, IP-RAM, on 30 September.
- Living Care Association - Unit I, under Contract (extract) No. 6/2026, which amends Contract No. 6/2025 of 30 September. The agreement covers the provision of 211 beds and now has a total value of 19,540,224.22 euros: 9,555,497.92 euros for healthcare costs, 9,541,418.41 euros for social support care, and 443,307.89 euros for the use of incontinence pads. The amendment is associated with Resolution No. 716/2026 of the Regional Government Council.
- Living Care Association - Unit II, under Contract (extract) No. 7/2026, which amends Contract No. 5/2025 of 24 March. The agreement covers the provision of 50 beds and now has a total value of 4,385,509.70 euros: 2,212,698.00 euros for healthcare costs, 2,072,133.95 euros for social support care, and 100,677.75 euros for the use of incontinence pads. The amendment is associated with Resolution No. 715/2026 of the Regional Government Council.
The contracts were concluded between the Health Administration Institute, IP-RAM, the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM, the Autonomous Region of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth, and the respective Living Care Association unit.
