The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has formalized the update of the Calheta municipal emergency plan, ensuring greater readiness in responding to risks.
Through Order no. 190/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection approved the revision of the Calheta Municipal Civil Protection Emergency Plan. This measure, which enters into force on the first business day following its publication, follows the technical criteria established by the National Civil Protection Commission.
The document, which has already received a favorable opinion from the Municipal Civil Protection Commission and the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM, is available for public consultation on the Calheta City Council website, ensuring transparency and awareness of safety measures by the local population.
The Health Administration Institute, IP-RAM, has been authorized to regularize payments to three mental health institutions effective January 1, 2025.
