SESARAM renews workers' compensation insurance with 1.4 million euro investment
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has redistributed the costs for the SESARAM workers' compensation insurance policy in a four-year contract.
Ordinance no. 141/2026, signed by the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Micaela Cristina Fonseca de Freitas, establishes the redistribution of budgetary charges for the acquisition of the workers' compensation insurance policy for the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (SESARAM, EPERAM).
The contract, with a duration of four years, has a global base price of 1,741,338.33 €, corresponding to an annual cost of 580,446.11 €, exempt from VAT. The distribution of charges across the fiscal years is as follows:
- 2025: 550,850.88 €
- 2026: 580,446.11 €
- 2027: 580,446.11 €
- 2028: 29,595.23 €
The measure enters into force on the day following its publication in the JORAM.
