Regional Government initiates public consultation for extension of four collective agreements

Four collective agreements covering sectors such as the brewing industry, agriculture, pharmacies, and facility services are currently in the extension project phase.

The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth has published notices for draft extension ordinances for four collective labour agreements, opening a 4-day period for reasoned opposition by interested parties. The projects aim to extend the application of the following instruments:

  • Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira, Sociedade Unipessoal Lda. and FESAHT: Partial revision of the company agreement.
  • Confederation of Portuguese Farmers (CAP) and SETAAB: Global revision of the collective agreement for the agriculture, forestry, fishing, tourism and food industry sectors.
  • National Association of Pharmacies (ANF) and National Pharmacists Union: Salary changes and other provisions.
  • Portuguese Association of Facility Services (APFS) and STAD (and others): Salary changes and other provisions for concierge, security and cleaning services.

These measures aim to ensure the standardization of working conditions and competitive equity among companies in the same sector in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
