A Rectification Declaration No. 37/2026 from the Presidency of the Regional Government has been published, correcting an inaccuracy in the Resolution of the Regional Government Council No. 658/2026, of July 7. This resolution approved the partial suspension of the Funchal Municipal Master Plan and the adoption of preventive measures.
The correction concerns Annex III - Preventive Measures, specifically paragraph g) of its Article 4. The original text, which was published with an omission, is now completed.
Where it previously read: "g) In the remaining territory, for single-family housing, parking spaces per unit
It now states: "g) In the remaining territory, for single-family housing, parking spaces per unit
This rectification, signed by the Assistant to the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Ângelo da Silva Rodrigues, clarifies that the maximum number of parking spaces per single-family housing unit (with fewer than three bedrooms) in the territory in question is two.
