The Regional Government Council has authorised the amicable expropriation of two plots of land for the ER 209 reconstruction works, between the Salões and Barreiro sites in Ponta do Sol, for a total value of 11,915.82 euros.
The Regional Government Council approved, through Resolutions No. 1014/2026 and No. 1015/2026, the expropriation of two plots of land required for the works on "Reconstruction of ER 209, between the Sítios dos Salões and do Barreiro - Ponta do Sol".
In total, the two expropriations amount to 11,915.82 euros. The expropriations fall under Resolution No. 1192/2023, of 23 November, which declared the expropriation of the real estate needed for the works to be in the public interest.
The resolutions approve the draft deeds of amicable expropriation, the signing of which is the responsibility of the Regional Secretary for Finance. The expenses are covered by the regional budget.
APRAM has approved Regulation No. 5/2026, which replaces the previous Porto Santo Marina regulation and sets rules for berths, the waiting list, the boatyard, the commercial area and the fuel station.
Three ordinances published in the JORAM reorganise the budget commitments for slope stabilisation, watercourse regularisation and the redesign of a road junction, with execution planned for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
The Regional Government has authorised expenditure of up to €13,175,000, plus VAT, for the design and construction of Machico Pavilion. The project will be put out to public tender, with a notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
