Government invests 3.8 million euros in construction of weirs on Ribeira da Rocha
The Regional Government has authorized the distribution of budgetary charges for the construction of weirs in Serra d'Água, with a total investment of 3.8 million euros.
Ordinance no. 264/2026 has been published, authorizing the distribution of budgetary charges related to the procedure for the "Construction of weirs on the Ribeira da Rocha - Serra d'Água" (process no. 16/2026). The total investment amounts to €3,800,000.00.
The funding is staggered as follows:
- 2026 financial year: €150,000.00
- 2027 financial year: €3,650,000.00
VAT at the current legal rate must be added to the indicated values. The project aims to strengthen the hydraulic infrastructure in the Serra d'Água area, with the funds for 2027 included in the respective regional budget proposal.
