The Regional Government has adjusted the payment plan for the air conditioning project at the Regional Archive and Public Library of Madeira, with a total investment exceeding 1.1 million euros.
Through Ordinance no. 256/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has proceeded with the amendment and redistribution of budgetary charges related to the procedure for "REGIONAL ARCHIVE AND PUBLIC LIBRARY OF MADEIRA - AIR CONDITIONING" (process no. 6/2026).
The total value of the contract remains at €1,129,383.03, with the payment plan staggered as follows:
VAT at the current legal rate is added to the indicated values. This measure allows for the continuation of the project to improve the conservation conditions and thermal comfort of the cultural infrastructure, with the funds for 2027 to be included in the respective regional budget proposal.
The reallocation and update of funding for the 'Chromatic Intervention' project in Paul do Mar, Calheta municipality, has been approved, up to a total of €854,959.62.
Two ordinances approve the alteration and redistribution of budget allocations for the rehabilitation of Caniçal school and the Cancela junction project, totaling approximately 3.5 million euros.
The Council of the Government approved the declaration of public utility for the expropriation of land needed for four infrastructure works and the regularization of the Cancela Business Park.
