Government extends deadline for regional solar energy grid tender

The Regional Directorate for Energy has determined, through Dispatch no. 172/2026, the extension of the deadline for submitting proposals for the competitive procedure aimed at awarding injection capacity reservation titles in the Public Service Electricity Grid of the RAM (RESPM).

The tender, which aims to allocate a maximum of 60 MW of electricity production capacity from solar energy, now has a new deadline of June 17, 2026.

The decision follows a request for an extension submitted by an interested party, with the jury acknowledging that obtaining essential technical information from the grid operator, necessary for preparing proposals, may be subject to external constraints. This measure aims to ensure equality among competitors and safeguard the principle of competition in a procedure of high technical and financial complexity.
