Regional Government Resolution No. 871/2026 authorizes a sponsorship contract of 259,524 euros for ISS - Madeira, the only school in the Region with alternative curriculum plans.
The Regional Government has approved a sponsorship contract worth 259,524.00 € for ISS - Madeira - International Sharing School - Madeira, S.A.. The measure was authorized by Regional Government Council Resolution No. 871/2026 and is intended to support the school's operation during the 2026/2027 academic year, which will remain in effect until August 31, 2027.
The support is based on the fact that the International Sharing School is the only educational institution in the Region that develops its own, alternative, and pedagogically innovative curriculum plans across various levels of education. The Regional Secretary of Education, Science, and Technology has been tasked with executing the contract.
Regional Government Council Resolution No. 867/2026 authorizes the signing of simple contracts with 27 private institutions to support operational and social action costs during the 2026/2027 school year.
The Regional Government has approved a sponsorship contract of 141,050 euros for the Funchal Dance School, the only institution in the Region providing specialized artistic education in an articulated regime.
The Regional Government Council Resolution No. 868/2026 authorises cooperation agreements with 21 Private Social Solidarity Institutions to support operational and school social action costs.
