The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology and the Regional Secretariat for Finance of Madeira have published four ordinances authorizing the distribution of the total budget charges related to initial cooperation agreements and their respective amendments. These agreements involve four education establishments, including nurseries and a school, and cover the economic years 2025 and 2026.
As with association contracts, the funds are supported by the budget of the Management and Planning Unit Office of the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology and are intended for operational costs and, in some cases, social support. The ordinances, which amend the cost-sharing ordinances from September 2025, take effect immediately. The covered institutions are:
These cooperation agreements strengthen the partnership between the regional administration and private social solidarity institutions and other entities, ensuring the educational offer and social support for families in the Region.
