The Regional Government of Madeira has approved the distribution of budgetary charges to ensure the maintenance of the elevator at the Porto Moniz Basic and Secondary School until 2031.
Through Ordinance no. 275/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the Regional Government authorized the distribution of the budgetary charges necessary to ensure the maintenance of the elevator at the Porto Moniz Basic and Secondary School with Preschool and Nursery.
The measure, which aims to ensure the operationality and safety of this school equipment, provides for a multi-year payment plan, plus VAT at the legal rate in force, according to the following schedule:
The decree specifies that the expenditure for the 2026 financial year will be supported by the budget item of the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology (Secretariat 44; Chapter 01; Division 07; Subdivision 22; Economic classification 02.02.19. CS.Y0; Funding Source 381). The funds for the subsequent years, from 2027 to 2031, will be duly registered in the respective annual budgets.
The Ordinance enters into force on the day following its publication, on June 26, 2026.
