The Regional Government Council has authorised a programme contract with AICTPS for the second edition of Expo Natal Porto Santo 2026, with a contribution of up to €4,000.
The Regional Government Council authorised, through Resolution No. 1011/2026, the signing of a programme contract with AICTPS - Associação de Indústria, Comércio e Turismo do Porto Santo, as part of the promotion and development of the economic sector of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The aim is to carry out the project "Expo Natal Porto Santo 2026", taking place between 4 and 4 December 2026, at the Pavilhão Multiusos do Porto Santo.
The initiative includes a business exhibition component, areas dedicated to commerce, handicrafts, gastronomy and regional products, a cultural programme and children's activities. According to the decree, it aims to boost the island's economy in a period of lower demand, with an impact on commerce, catering, transport, services and logistics.
The expenditure is budgeted for 2026 under the Regional Secretariat for the Economy.
