Regional Government grants support to five sports entities
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved sports development program contracts with five clubs and associations for the 2025/2026 season.
The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of sports development program contracts (CPDD) for the 2025/2026 season, aiming to support regional sports activity and participation in national competitions. The grants were awarded to the following entities:
- Sporting Clube da Madeira: Support of €17,763.62 for participation in regional championships or events (Resolution no. 403/2026).
- Sporting Club Santacruzense: Support of €34,007.38 for the dissemination, promotion, and organization of sports disciplines, school sports, and regional events (Resolution no. 404/2026).
- Valour Futebol Clube - Associação Cultural, Recreativa e Desportiva do Rosário: Support of €8,286.86 for participation in regional championships or events (Resolution no. 405/2026).
- Vermelhimponente - Associação Desportiva: Support of €4,395.12 for participation in regional championships or events (Resolution no. 406/2026).
- A.C.M. - Associação de Ciclismo da Madeira: Support of €27,087.00 to cover travel expenses for sports agents in national competitions (Resolution no. 407/2026).
The contracts take effect from the date of their signing and expire on December 31, 2026.
