The Autonomous Region of Madeira will co-finance the 'Mesclarte 26 - Atlantic Summit of Creative Industries' with 17,500 euros.
Through Resolution no. 174/2026, the Regional Government has authorized the signing of a cultural development and cooperation protocol with the Association of Creative Industries. The objective is the production and realization of the 'Mesclarte 26 - Atlantic Summit of Creative Industries' event, which will take place during 2026.
The financial contribution granted will not exceed €17,500.00. This initiative aims to promote debate and reflection on art and creative contexts, strengthening social, cultural, and economic ties in the Atlantic axis of the CPLP and promoting Madeira as a cultural destination.
The Regional Government Council authorized cultural cooperation agreements for a multidisciplinary exhibition and a concert series, each receiving 5,000 euros in support.
The Foco de Imagem Cultural Association will receive financial support to produce and film a movie portraying socio-cultural experiences from the year 2000.
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized an investment of 1.95 million euros for the rehabilitation of the Church of São João Evangelista.
