Emergency Plan Revision Approved for Canical Fuel Storage Park
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has approved the revision of the Emergency Plan for the Industrial Free Trade Zone and the Canical Fuel Storage Park.
Order no. 197/2026 formalizes the revision of the Industrial Free Trade Zone Emergency Plan, which also serves as the External Emergency Plan for the Canical Fuel Storage Park. This measure is part of the prevention regime for major accidents involving dangerous substances, in accordance with Decree-Law no. 150/2015. The plan is available for consultation on the Madeira Development Society, S.A. website.
