Regional Government appoints specialist technician to Tourism Secretary's office
Marlene Laura Caires Pereira has been appointed as Specialist Technician in the office of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, effective September 1.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has appointed a specialist technician to provide advisory support in the regional secretary's office. The decision aims to ensure specialized technical support in the areas of public procurement and financial, budgetary, and asset management.
The appointee is Marlene Laura Caires Pereira, a graduate in Classical and Portuguese Languages and Literature, who was previously serving as Head of Division at the Regional Directorate for Spatial Planning. The appointment was formalized through Dispatch No. 367/2026.
According to the dispatch, the specialist technician is entitled to a gross monthly base salary corresponding to 65.45% of the standard value for top-level management positions of the 1st degree, as well as a 20% remuneration supplement for performing duties under a permanent availability regime. The appointment takes effect from September 1, 2026.
