Government approves new organizational structure for Regional Youth Directorate
A decree from the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth redefines the flexible structure of the DRJ, creating new divisions and units to improve service efficiency.
Decree No. 372/2026 approved the new flexible structure of the Regional Youth Directorate (DRJ), establishing the responsibilities of its organic units. This restructuring aims to create conditions for the effective exercise of the powers assigned to the DRJ.
The new structure, which replaces the one defined by Decree No. 154/2023, is as follows:
- Technical Support Office (GAT): Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director, responsible for communication and support.
- Youth Programs Division (DPJ): Under the supervision of the Youth Support Services Directorate (DSAJ), coordinates regional, national, and international youth programs.
- Projects and Associations Division (DPA): Also under the DSAJ, develops non-formal education projects and manages youth associations.
- Program and Project Support Unit (NAPP): Provides logistical and administrative support to the DSAJ.
- Administration and Management Division (DAG): Under the supervision of the Youth Centres Management Services Directorate (DSGCJ), oversees the management of Youth Centres.
- Financial Management Division (DGF): Under the supervision of the Legal and Resource Management Services Directorate (DSJGR), prepares the budget and monitors financial execution.
- Human Resources Division (DRH): Also under the DSJGR, manages all administrative procedures related to personnel.
- Property Management and Supplies Unit (NGPE): Under the supervision of the Planning, Innovation and Communication Services Directorate (DSPIC), ensures property management.
The decree maintains the service commissions of the holders of intermediate management positions affected by the transition of functions. The new structure came into force the day after its publication.
