Government Approves New Flexible Structure with Six Divisions for Social Equipment

The Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructure approved, through Order No. 375/2026, the flexible structure of the Regional Directorate for Social Equipment and Conservation (DRESC). This new internal organization creates six specialized divisions, each headed by a division head (a 2nd-level intermediate management position), with well-defined responsibilities.

The new organizational units are as follows:

• Engineering Projects Division (DPE): Reports to the Studies and Projects Services Directorate (DSEP), ensures the preparation and coordination of engineering studies and projects for public works.
• Architecture Projects Division (DPA): Also reports to the DSEP, is responsible for architectural studies and projects and for the enhancement of monuments of regional interest.
• Conservation and Maintenance Division (DCM): Reports to the Conservation and Efficiency Services Directorate (DSCE), provides conservation, maintenance, and execution of works on public buildings.
• Energy Efficiency Division (DEE): Also reports to the DSCE, promotes energy audits, efficiency studies, and the energy certification of buildings.
• Construction Supervision Division (DFC): Reports to the Supervision and Hydraulics Services Directorate (DSFH), ensures the coordination and supervision of DRESC construction contracts.
• River Hydraulics Division (DHF): Also reports to the DSFH, implements actions related to the hydrological functioning of river basins and the conservation of the regional hydrographic network.

The order revokes the previous Order No. 265/2022 and came into effect the day after its publication.
