Government Changes Inovação 2030 Incentive System Allocation to 46.06 Million Euros
Portaria No. 616/2026 makes the third amendment to the Inovação 2030 system regulation, setting the financial allocation at 46,060,000 euros.
The Regional Secretariats for the Economy and Finance published Portaria No. 616/2026, which makes the third amendment to Portaria No. 1151/2023, of 29 December, approving the Specific Regulation of the Incentive System for Productive Innovation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, known as Inovação 2030.
Reason for the amendment
In 2025, the Madeira 2030 Programme was reprogrammed, with effects on the fund allocations for Specific Objective 1.3, which concerns strengthening the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in these companies. The allocation stated in the regulation no longer matched the amount actually assigned to Inovação 2030.
New allocation
Article 32 now provides for a financial allocation of 46,060,000 euros, subject to changes resulting from reprogramming of Madeira 2030. Of this amount, 85% is ensured by the Managing Authority for the ERDF component and 15% by the Regional Budget of Madeira for the regional component. The portaria enters into force on the day after its publication.
