Government sells land in Câmara de Lobos for 10,800 euros
The Region sold, via direct award, a rural property in the Saraiva/Ribeiro Real area to a private individual, as part of its public asset rationalization policy.
The Government Council authorized the sale of a property belonging to the Autonomous Region of Madeira to a private individual. The operation was carried out via direct award, a procedure permitted for values up to a certain amount.
The alienated asset is a rural property with an area of 120 m², located in the Saraiva / Ribeiro Real area, in the parish and municipality of Câmara de Lobos. The property was considered surplus, meaning it is no longer needed for public interest purposes.
The buyer is Bruno Duarte Carvalho Fernandes, who expressed interest in the acquisition. The sale price was set at 10,800.00 € (ten thousand eight hundred euros), based on an appraisal promoted by the Regional Directorate of Heritage and approved by the Regional Secretary of Finance.
The authorization for the sale and the signing of the contract is contained in Regional Government Council Resolution No. 878/2026. The measure is part of the policy of preserving and optimizing public assets advocated by the XVI Regional Government Program.
