The Regional Government authorized an extraordinary price update for the security and surveillance services contract for the building of the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection.
An extraordinary price update for a contract providing human security and surveillance services has been authorized. The contract covers the headquarters building of the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection and the facilities of the RAM Commission for the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction.
The update was requested by the contracted company, STRONG CHARON - Security Solutions, S.A., and is based on the impact that the increase in the Guaranteed Minimum Monthly Wage (RMMG) had on the contract's labor component, which was a determining factor in the formation of the initial price.
Joint Order No. 70/2026 from the regional secretariats of Health and Civil Protection and Finance authorizes the update under the terms proposed by the company. The decision is based on the provisions of the Autonomous Region of Madeira's Budget for 2026 and Ordinance No. 460/2024, of September 19, which regulates this type of procedure. The company presented a financial report signed by a certified accountant to prove the impact.
The order takes effect retroactively from January 1, 2026.
The Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructure has approved the new flexible organic structure of the Regional Roads Directorate, defining the responsibilities of seven divisions.
Ordinance No. 537/2026 regulates the allocation of exceptional support of 29,640 euros to eleven firefighter associations and rescue entities in Madeira, to compensate for the increase in fuel prices between April and June 2026.
The Regional Directorate of Sport has signed programme contracts with ten sports associations in the region, under the 2025/2026 Regional Sports Support Plan.
