The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has opened a competitive recruitment process to fill a position as Head of Management Support Division.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has announced the opening of a public competition to fill a mid-level management position (2nd grade) at the Regional Directorate of Culture. The announcement was made through Notice No. 383/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The position in question is Head of the Management Support Division of the Regional Directorate of Culture. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and meet the legal requirements, including being a public sector employee with an indefinite contract and having at least four years of relevant professional experience.
The desired profile values specialized knowledge in the field of management support, experience in management positions, planning skills, leadership, and people management, among other competencies.
Applications must be submitted within a period of ten working days from the day after the publication of the notice, via an application addressed to the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture. Submissions can be made in person at Avenida Arriaga, No. 18, in Funchal, or by registered mail.
The competition jury will be chaired by José Luís Medeiros Gaspar, Regional Director of Culture, and includes full and alternate members from different departments of the regional secretariat.
