A resolution corrects an error in the official publication that awarded praise to athlete Filipa Mafalda Henriques Andrade de Jesus, changing the title from 'National Duathlon Champion' to 'National Aquathlon Champion'.
The Regional Government Council approved a resolution to correct an inaccuracy in a previous official document. Resolution No. 824/2026 rectifies Resolution No. 514/2026 of May 21, which awarded praise to Madeiran athlete Filipa Mafalda Henriques Andrade de Jesus.
The error was found both in the summary and the text of the original resolution, where the title 'National Duathlon Champion' was mentioned. With this rectification, it now correctly states the title 'National Aquathlon Champion'.
The rectifying resolution was approved in a plenary session of the Government Council on August 20, 2026.
