The Regional Government of Madeira has approved the new organic structure of the Regional Directorate of Spatial Planning (DROTe), defining its core units and respective competencies.
Through Ordinance no. 280/2026, of June 26, the Regional Government of Madeira approved the core structure of the services of the Regional Directorate of Spatial Planning (DROTe). This measure aims to provide the organization with a more efficient structure for exercising its duties in the scope of spatial planning and urbanism.
The core structure of DROTe now comprises the following organic units:
The diploma further establishes that DROTe will have a maximum limit of 6 flexible organic units. The ordinance revokes the previous Ordinance no. 717/2024, ensuring the continuity of the service commissions of the existing 1st-degree intermediate management position holders.
