The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the fourth amendment to the program contract with IHM, EPERAM, adjusting financial execution deadlines to ensure the completion of strategic projects under the PRR.
The Regional Government Council has approved, through Resolution no. 631/2026, the fourth amendment to the program contract signed between the Autonomous Region of Madeira and IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM. This measure aims to ensure the continuity of funding for investments not eligible or not co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The decision arises from the need to adjust the physical and financial scheduling of important regional projects, ensuring that expenditure execution and financial closure are aligned with the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism calendar. The projects covered by this extension are:
The maximum global amount of financial co-participation remains unchanged, set at €45,382,459.00. The amendment extends the contract validity until December 31, 2026, exclusively for the purposes of expenditure execution and financial closure, while maintaining August 31, 2026, as the deadline for the full compliance with the physical and material milestones and targets of the PRR. Payment requests to the intermediate beneficiary, IDR, IP-RAM, must be submitted by January 31, 2027.
