Civil Protection strengthens leadership team with three appointments
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has appointed three new heads for organic units created by Ordinance no. 212/2026. The appointments, on a one-year service commission basis, aim to ensure the operation of the new structures:
- Válter Filipe Freitas Ferreira (Order no. 227/2026): Appointed Director of Services for the Directorate of Planning, Operations and Information (1st degree).
- João Hugo Andrade Rodrigues (Order no. 228/2026): Appointed Director of Services for the Directorate of Resource Administration (1st degree).
- Paul Nino Faria Afonseca (Order no. 229/2026): Appointed Head of Division for the Information and Communications Systems Division (2nd degree).
These appointments take effect immediately and remain in force until the positions are filled through a competitive recruitment process.
