Madeira Employment Institute creates 500 euro petty cash fund
The Madeira Employment Institute, IP-RAM, has established a petty cash fund to cover urgent and low-value expenses during 2026.
The Board of Directors of the Madeira Employment Institute, IP-RAM, through Deliberation no. 5/2026, has determined the creation of a petty cash fund in the amount of €500.00 for the year 2026. This measure aims to allow for the swift payment of unpredictable, urgent, and unavoidable expenses that do not align with standard accounting procedures.
The amount will be distributed across the following operating categories:
- Fuels and lubricants: €50.00
- Office supplies: €50.00
- Tools and utensils: €20.00
- Books and technical documentation: €40.00
- Other goods: €50.00
- Maintenance of assets: €80.00
- Seminars, exhibitions, and similar: €160.00
- Other services: €50.00
The management of the fund will be the responsibility of Dr. Nuno Miguel Azevedo Jardim, Head of the Technical Support Division of the Institute's Administrative and Financial Directorate.
