The Casa do Povo of Jardim da Serra receives financial support from the Regional Government for the organization of the 2026 edition of the Cherry Festival.
Resolution no. 277/2026 authorizes the signing of a program contract with the Casa do Povo of Jardim da Serra, in the amount of €12,550.00, to co-finance the costs of the 'Cherry Festival' held in 2026. This event is considered of great importance for the promotion of rural culture and local agricultural products, serving as a pillar for the economy and traditions of the Jardim da Serra parish.
The support reflects the Regional Government's strategy to value associations and rural development, ensuring the viability of initiatives that promote the territory and the Madeiran agri-food sector.
The Santo da Serra Golf Club will organize a tournament commemorating the 50 years of Madeira's Autonomy, with significant financial support from the Regional Government.
