The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Work and Youth has opened a competitive procedure to fill a 1st grade intermediate management position.
A public competition has been opened for the position of Director of Services of the Directorate of Social Economy Support Services, a 1st grade intermediate management position within the Regional Directorate for Citizenship and Social Affairs. The announcement was made through Notice No. 360/2026.
The position will be filled under a service commission regime for a period of three years. Applications are open to public sector workers with an indefinite contract, holding a degree in Law and with six years of relevant professional experience.
The desired profile includes proven experience in the service directorate's area of operation, leadership skills, results orientation, and tolerance to pressure. The workplace will be at Rua do Esmeraldo, No. 64, in Funchal.
Applications must be submitted in a formal request addressed to the Regional Secretary, delivered in person or by post, within a period of 10 working days from the publication of the notice in the Region's Electronic Bulletin (BEP-RAM). Selection will be made through Curriculum Assessment and Public Interview. The jury is chaired by Maria da Graça Ferreira da Silva Moniz Costa e Silva, Regional Director for Citizenship and Social Affairs.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth has published two ordinances extending the effects of wage agreements and other working conditions in the chemical and accounting sectors to all employers and workers in the Region.
Employer associations and trade unions in the vehicle inspection sector have agreed on a revision of the collective labor agreement, establishing new minimum salaries and a meal allowance of 11.50 euros.
The public company ARM - Águas e Resíduos da Madeira and the SITE/CSRA union have celebrated the fourth revision of the company agreement, which includes a salary update retroactive to January 1, 2026 and a progressive increase in the meal allowance until 2029.
