Regional Government extends collective labor agreements to various sectors

The Regional Government has published extension ordinances that standardize working conditions in sectors such as transport, pharmacies, housing, and airport handling.

The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth has published several extension ordinances and notices of draft ordinances to standardize working conditions in the Autonomous Region of Madeira:

  • Extension Ordinance No. 24/2026: Extends the company agreement between Horários do Funchal - Transportes Públicos, S.A. and the Union of Road Workers and Metallurgical Activities of RAM.
  • Extension Ordinance No. 25/2026: Extends the collective agreement between the National Association of Pharmacies (ANF) and SINPROFARM.
  • Draft Ordinances: Notices of draft ordinances were also published for the extension of labor agreements at IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM (with SINTAP), GROQUIFAR (with SITESE), Zurich Insurance Europe AG (with STAS), the National Association of Dairy Industries (ANIL), and Portway - Handling de Portugal, SA (with SINDAV).

These measures aim to ensure the fair standardization of salary and working conditions for workers not represented by the signatory trade union associations, promoting equity in the regional private sector.
