Paula Micaela Gouveia Sousa has been authorized to receive a cash shortage allowance due to her treasury responsibilities at the school.
Order No. 226/2026, issued by the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, formalizes the granting of a "cash shortage allowance" (abono para falhas) to technical assistant Paula Micaela Gouveia Sousa, from the Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School.
The decision is based on the fact that the employee handles and is responsible for values, cash, or documents exceeding 50,000 euros per year, meeting the legal requirements set out in Decree-Law No. 4/89 and adapted regional legislation. The order also stipulates that, in the absence or impediment of the incumbent, technical assistant Maria João da Silva Marques will assume the replacement and the respective right to the allowance.
