The transition of the funding for the Luís de Camões Association Social Centre to the standard model has been authorised, with a monthly contribution of 4,296.15 euros.
The Madeira Institute of Social Security (ISSM, IP-RAM) will change the funding model for the Social Centre managed by the Luís de Camões Association. Through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 847/2026, the signing of an addendum to Atypical Agreement No. 1/2020 was authorised, introducing the application of the standard funding model, under a Typical Agreement.
The change grants a monthly financial contribution of 6,296.15 €, a value calculated based on the standard amount per user approved for Social Centres (179.89 €), multiplied by 35 users and deducted by 25% for not providing a transport service. The addendum takes effect from 1 September 2026, within the scope of the renewal of the agreement for the period until 31 August 2029.
The multi-year costs are foreseen as follows:
This transition from an atypical agreement to a typical agreement fits within the policy of convergence towards the standard funding model defined by Regional Government Council Resolution No. 4/2026.
Three resolutions by the Regional Government Council publicly commend Tiago José Ferreira Berenguer, Club Sports da Madeira and the Madeira Autonomous Region Badminton Association. The athlete won five medals in three Under-19 competitions.
Five resolutions by the Regional Government publicly honour Madeira athletes and sports organisations for achievements in triathlon and badminton. The tributes recognise medals won at international events and competitions held in Portugal.
Madeira’s Institute of Social Security may take on €735,676.20 in costs between 2026 and 2029 to renew its agreement with Mão Solidária. The funding will support the operation of food assistance for people in need.
