The Regional Government Council approved votes of praise for a badminton coach and a table tennis player for their results in international competitions.
The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary on April 30, 2026, approved the granting of public praise to two representatives of Madeiran sport, in accordance with Resolutions no. 463/2026 and no. 464/2026:
The municipality signed a program contract to financially support the 15th Madalena do Mar Canoe Regatta, organized by the Madeira Regional Canoeing Association.
The Government Council authorized a program-contract to financially support the 2026 activity plan of the Social Solidarity Association Crescer Sem Risco.
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection approved the internal redistribution of 420,000 euros in financial support to the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association across three support programmes.
