The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary on April 20, 2026, authorized the signing of sports development program contracts (CPDD) with 20 sports entities in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This support aims to facilitate participation in regional and national competitions, maintain infrastructure, and support high-performance athletes for the 2025/2026 season.
