A new member has been appointed to the Advisory Council of the Mission Structure for the Central and University Hospital of Madeira, replacing a previous member.
Joint Order No. 63/2026 from the Regional Secretariats of Health and Civil Protection and Finance has made a change to the composition of the Advisory Council of the Mission Structure for the Central and University Hospital of Madeira (EMHCUM).
The order amends paragraph b) of Joint Order No. 17/2026, which defined the initial composition of the council. The new appointment is as follows:
The Advisory Council of the EMHCUM is composed of seven members from SESARAM, EPERAM, with recognized merit in the health field at regional, national, and international levels. Its function is to advise the Mission Structure responsible for the project of the new Central and University Hospital of Madeira.
The employment ties of a nurse and a senior technician in the Madeira Health Service have been consolidated, following periods of mobility and public interest secondment.
Two contracts within the Integrated Continuing Care Network have been updated, reflecting an increase in the daily rate paid by the State and protecting users from retroactive costs.
The Regional Government Council approved the first amendment to four program contracts with long-term care units, adapting the values to the increased daily rate and protecting users from retroactive costs.
