Regional Government strengthens Continuing Care Network with new contract
The Regional Government has authorized a program contract to secure 17 places in the Long-Term Care and Maintenance Unit typology.
The Regional Government Council has authorized, through Resolution no. 535/2026, the signing of a program contract with the entity Lar D’ Ajuda - Lar e Centro de Dia, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda., Unidade V. This measure aims to strengthen the response capacity of the Integrated Continuing Care Network (REDE) in the Long-Term Care and Maintenance Unit (ULDM) typology.
The contract, which involves the Institute of Health Administration, IP-RAM (IASAÚDE, IP-RAM), the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM (ISSM, IP-RAM), and the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth, will be in effect from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. The total investment amounts to €1,641,479.20, distributed as follows:
- 2026 financial year: €546,660.50
- 2027 financial year: €546,660.50
- 2028 financial year: €548,158.20
