The Regional Government has authorized the renewal of the lease agreement for the property housing the Dr. Rui Adriano de Freitas Health Center in Funchal.
The Regional Government Council, through Resolution no. 638/2026, has authorized the renewal of the non-residential lease agreement between the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, EPERAM and IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM.
The property, located in the Nazaré Housing Complex, at Avenida do Colégio Militar, no. 27, in the parish of São Martinho, will continue to house the Dr. Rui Adriano de Freitas Health Center (Nazaré). The renewal is for a duration of one year, starting on 09/01/2026 and ending on 08/31/2027.
The monthly rent is set at €7,608.65, totaling an amount of €91,303.80, exempt from VAT.
The Region has amended the programme contracts of four units in Madeira’s Integrated Continuing Care Network, covering 121 beds. The updated total amounts range from around €1.86 million to €3.73 million.
The Regional Government amended the statutes of IASAÚDE, IP-RAM, creating a new directorate specialized in auditing and inspecting public health resources.
The Madeira Institute of Social Security will update the values of financial contributions for various typical-funded social responses, representing a total investment of approximately 631 thousand euros for 2026.
