The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary session on March 26, 2026, approved the award of the contract designated "PORTO SANTO LOCAL HEALTH UNIT - PHASE 2 - A", in accordance with Resolution no. 167/2026.
The project was awarded to the consortium composed of the companies TECNOVIA - MADEIRA, SOCIEDADE DE EMPREITADAS S.A., AFAVIAS - ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUÇÕES, S.A., and FARROBO, SOCIEDADE DE CONSTRUÇÕES S.A., for the contractual value of 28,997,000.00 €. The stipulated execution period for the contract is 720 days.
The Regional Government has authorized the fourth amendment to the program contract with APRAM, rescheduling the 7 million euro investment until 2028.
The Regional Government has approved cooperation protocols with the Madeira Cycling Association and the Notas e Sinfonias Atlânticas Association.
