The Regional Government authorized the purchase of seven land plots in Santo António for €4,380 to proceed with access and safety infrastructure in the high zone of the parish.
The Regional Government Council authorized, through Resolution No. 893/2026, the acquisition of seven land plots necessary for the execution of the work "Access and Safety Infrastructure in the High Zones of Santo António - Barreira Path - Curral Velho Section." The acquisition will be carried out via private law, following an agreement with the owners.
The acquisition involves the following plots and holders, for a total amount of €4,380.00:
The expense is covered by the regional budget, under project 50153. The Regional Secretary for Finance was mandated to execute the deed of acquisition.
The public utility status has been declared for the expropriation of land needed for the regularization and channeling of the Ribeiro da Raiz stream in Curral das Freiras, aiming to mitigate flood risks.
