The Council of Government has authorized the friendly expropriation of a plot of land valued at 32,616.55 euros, necessary for the construction of the Boaventura-São Vicente Expressway.
The Regional Government Council has authorized the expropriation of a plot of land necessary for the progress of the "Construction of the Boaventura - São Vicente Expressway" project.
Regional Government Council Resolution No. 843/2026 authorizes the expropriation of plot of land No. 33, from the project's parcel plan, whose owner is João Carlos Nunes da Costa, for the total amount of 32,616.55 €.
The expropriation is declared to be of public utility, continuing the process initiated in 2008. The Regional Secretary of Finance has been mandated to execute the corresponding deed of friendly expropriation.
The Government Council approved the signing and amendment of three program-contracts for the rehabilitation of the Civic Center in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, the Ribeira da Boaventura development, and the Porto Santo Cultural Center.
The Autonomous Region of Madeira and Calheta Municipal Council have amended the programme contract to fund the landscape rehabilitation of houses in Paúl do Mar, with a regional investment of 854,959.62 euros.
Ordinance No. 413/2026 redistributes budget funds for co-financing investment expenses in the rehabilitation of the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos Civic Center, for a maximum total amount of 966,414.90 euros.
