Budget Changes Approved for Works in Caniçal and Cancela
Two ordinances approve the alteration and redistribution of budget allocations for the rehabilitation of Caniçal school and the Cancela junction project, totaling approximately 3.5 million euros.
The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariats of Finance and Equipment and Infrastructure, has approved changes to the financial phasing of two important public works projects.
Caniçal School (Ordinance No. 365/2026)
The Ordinance alters the distribution of costs for the project "Caniçal Basic School with Pre-School and Nursery - Conservation and Rehabilitation", with a total value of €960,213.20. The new amounts per fiscal year are:
- 2026: €453,160.80
- 2027: €507,052.40
Cancela Junction (Ordinance No. 366/2026)
The Ordinance alters the distribution of costs for the contract "Cancela Junction. Construction Project", with a total value of €2,578,813.73. The new amounts per fiscal year are:
- 2023: €275,824.17
- 2024: €557,572.98
- 2025: €1,020,595.98
- 2026: €724,820.60
Both ordinances establish that the amounts set for each year may be increased by the balance carried over from the previous year and that VAT at the applicable legal rate will be added to the values.
