The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has published the new cost indices for materials and labor for the first quarter of 2026.
Through Notices no. 242/2026 and no. 243/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has set the cost index values applicable to the price revision of public works contracts in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, referring to the months of January, February, and March 2026.

These values, proposed by the Regional Commission for Indices and Contracting Formulas, are essential for calculating price revisions in ongoing public works contracts, ensuring cost updates in line with market variations.
Ordinance No. 521/2026 authorizes the distribution of 10.02 million euros for the second phase of the new road link between Quebradas and Amparo.
