Resolution no. 579/2026 enables the transfer of land to the Funchal Municipality for the alignment of Travessa do Paiol.
The Regional Government, through Resolution no. 579/2026, has determined the acceptance of a real burden on an urban property located at Beco do Paiol, no. 31, in the parish of São Pedro, Funchal. The measure aims to allow compliance with the alignments planned for Travessa do Paiol.
The decision involves the free transfer of a 57 m² plot of land to the Funchal Municipality, with the Region waiving the value of improvements in the event of future expropriation. This action is necessary to obtain the usage license for a Day and Night Center managed by the Funchal Community Development Association, a project financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The Council of the Government approved the declaration of public utility for the expropriation of land needed for four infrastructure works and the regularization of the Cancela Business Park.
